Fasting Brings Miracles

Bonjour à tous! 

Honestly this past week was better than I could ever imagine. First of all we were able to see our amazing ami Akil! He is doing well. We found out that he felt like every church on earth has a piece of the truth and not just one but I was like, 《On est d'accord avec vous sauf qu'il y a un église avec toute la vérité. Notre église. 》 He was very shocked but that is our message and we ask people to find out for themselves if it is true or not. He is praying this week about it :) ALSO we asked him if we see him again and he invited us to eat an Iraqi-an meal with him since that is were he is from! It was an amazing meal! I got a lot of new ideas for recipes. We invited him to come to the temple trip in a few weeks! He seemed excited so hopefully he will go:) 

Marc Emmanuel is amazing:) We also saw him twice this past week. Every time we call us he answers, 《 Hello mes Sœurs! 》 he is the sweetest! He is starting to retain the information we are teaching him and I love him:) He is really searching for the truth. He wasn't able to make it to church on Sunday due to the buses. He was super sad and so were we:( But honestly he has such a desire to come and follow Jesus Christ. He is truly the best :) 

We had another exchange this week! The Cholet Sœurs were able to come up to Rennes! I was with Sœur Dunkley! She knows her doctrine and her french. Wow! She is the best. During our exchange we were able to see Delphine! We taught her some simple principles and invited her to move her date of baptism to a sooner date. She shoot me down hard with a no. Haha. Then Sœur Dunkley came in and asked, "Did you ask God?" Delphine, "No..." Then I started laughing and so did Delphine. Soon after she said that she would ask God. She knows how it is done ;) We were also able to set a baptismal date with Juliette, we were also laughing during that rdv when we were talking about baptism. Quelle joie. :) we set the date for December. Juliette came to church and she was able to share her testimony during amis class. She told me after that she loved sharing her testimony and that she felt the spirit. ♡ 

Ok. Let's talk about the title. So this past Saturday, our district was doing a fast for our amis will baptismal dates in the month of November. We didn't have anyone so we were completely relying on God. Well Saturday evening comes and we were with a bunch of JA for an activity. Delphine was there:) We were siting next to her and she looks over at us and says something, of course i didn't hear her so i was like what? She was like, "I need to get baptized eariler!" I was completely stocked I was flipping out and literally almost crying. We fixed the date of Nov. 10th! So that she can go to the temple on the 17th! We hopefully will be going with her as well:) WOOOOOOOWEWWW! God is truly a miracle worker.
