We will Find Them If We Search For Them
Bonjour à tous!
This past week was full of up and downs. One down was Diane will not be getting baptized due to a family matter. We hope to stay in contact with her but as for now we are not teaching her and we will try and contact her in a couple of week. But I know that if she truly believes in what we taught her, she will get baptized one day:)
I was able to go on two exchanges! The first one was on Tuesday with the amazing Sœur Franklin in Nantes. Nantes is HUGE. We were able to go Finding with their whole district! It was so awesome. Literally there were 4 sets of missionaries contacting the streets of Nantes that after noon :) We were able to meet a bunch of cool people and were able to get some new amis for the Sœurs! I was able to teach an amazing new convert. She was so sweet! She wanted to learn everything about the Plan of Salvation. Also we were teaching in English so that was a bit interesting.
Then we went ham in out sect for a couple of days. We were able to do a lot of effective work. Let me tell you Members are awesome. We were able to visit the Kumbu Family to talk to them about the temple. This family is such an amazing inspiration to all. They have such a desire to share the gospel and get people to the temple! They have 4 people they want to invite! The temple is a powerful tool in conversion. It is literally the house of the Lord.
The next day we spent most of the day doing finding, passing by less-actives, passing by old amis, and visiting Juliette in the hospital because she had another operation. THEN that evening we went to the Chevé families' house to have dinner and have a lesson with Akil. We discussed a lot of topics and by the end of the discussion Akil and Frere Chevé were best friends. Even they saw each other at church on Sunday they stayed with each other the whole Sunday so cute. :)
Next exchange was in Rennes with Sœur Andearson! Oh my goodness, she honestly is the most amazing person ever! I had an amazing exchange with her! We were able to teach an new man named Marc Emmanuel! He contacted us to have a RDV with him! What?! He listen to everything we had to say and he said yes to a soft invite to baptism. He came to church and he loved it. :) we will be able to see him again this week and explain of the Book of Mormon. Also me and Sœur Andereason were able to get her first macaroons!
Saturday! Us and the Elders were able to go to our DMP's house and do service. I have not been able to do a ton of service in my mission but this day was the best! We were also able to eat some pad Thai and some really Thai food! It was amazing! I just loved it and I loved being able to serve someone. Also I made friends with their daughter. We played with a worm together and she made me a drawing. She was so cute!
Honestly there are so many people here who are ready for the Gospel. I know God prepares his people. We will find them if we search for them.
Ok have a wonderful week!
