At last I see the Light... the Light of Jesus Christ 🏰🌌
Salut!
Well lets talk about another week in the life Sœur Pischer as she and her lovely campaign Sœur Packard take on the Ville of Rennes!
If I could describe my week, I would say God is good. We were able to see a lot of our progressing amis! Lets talk about these Children of God :)
Hélène: we saw her Monday and Thursday both with Sister Childress. Lets take a moment and give a shout out to this sister. She comes from America and she doesn't speak a ton of French but she came to our Rdvs anyway! Oh she is so courageous. Now Hélène. She is super prepared by God. We taught we the Plan of Salvation this week and she said that she has always felt like she has come from somewhere and that there was a purpose to life. YES THERE IS! Anyways she is great.
Juliette: Our awesome African mami (Granny) who has a strong faith in Jesus Christ and will follow him. She can't read due to her eye sight being extremely bad but we read to her out of the book of Mormon. She loves it! She will be having some surgeries in the future so we be taking care of her :) we eat with her this week à chez-elle and let me tell you, African food is GREAT.
Diane: This women is probably the most prepared person I have ever meet. Every time we teach her, she asks the perfect questions and she is so amazed at how our teaching make sense. They testify to her that what we are teaching her true! We are helping her to get baptized on Oct. 27th and we also are going to start teaching her kids once they get unto their house! God prepares his people.
Delphine: Super spunky, young, bolonger. We had a super powerful rdv with her just on Christ. The Spirit was super strong and I believe that she was touched by the spirit and it helped straighten her testimony of Jesus Christ. Also we eat some gâteau au roi with her. If you remember back to my emails around this time of year, there is a tradition with a gateau that if you get the piece with a little rigure in it, you are the kind or queen for the day! Oh France I love it!
Akil: he is a older Arabian man. He is super awesome! This week we were able to see him with a member family named the Alliots. It was a super spiritual lesson about Jesus Christ. Frère Alliot started crying and we knew that he was feeling the spirit.
We were all over this week going to place to place. One day we were in a side town next to Rennes then the next day in Lorient! And today we went to Mont Saint Michel which is the abbaye (abbey) that The movie Tangled was based off of! It was so pretty there and it was AWESOME to get to know more of the culture in France.
This week strengthened my testimony of JESUS Christ and the plan of Salvation. Without Jesus Christ, God's plan would be incomplete. Jesus Christ is our Savior, he suffered pain and afflictions of many kinds for all us. So that we can have the change to be clean and live with God again.
Well c'est tout!
