Coucou!
Ok to describe this week all I have to say is meetings, after meetings, after meetings. Let's start. :)
Well to get started, on Monday we played soccer as a district but comme d'habitude, I hurt myself. Quel nouvelle? Not really. Let's just say my toe was a nice blue and purple for the rest of the week. But the most ironic part about this story is Zone Conference was the next day. Can you guess what our formation was on? Well physical demands... as I was giving the formation I had a knee brace and an ankle brace on. Listen to the cripple my friend, she knows what she is talking about. But Zone Conference went well. It was really good to see everyone in the Zone:)
Next cool thing that happened this week was we were able to meet with a new amis, she lives an hour away on bus bit it was totally worth going to her house. She is truly prepared. The lessons we had will her was really one of the lessons that was guided by the spirit. I felt the Spirit throughout the entire lesson. We hope to see her again this week. Her name is Sophia. :)
Friday was cool. SÅ“ur Peterson had a doctor's appointment so we had to go to that but the best thing about this day was we spent three hours with our Senior Couple. Les Thatchers. Oh they are just the sweetest and most funniest people I have ever meet. We had an amazing talk on our way back to Brussels. We got some good laughs out of that.
But SATURDAY was the best day! First we had Samedi (Saturday)sports. And Burton, an awesome member who works in the military and who literally take to everyone about the gospel, invited a ton of people to come. It was an amazing turn out. They were all from the military and from America. We will be meeting with one of them is Friday! Another cool thing that happened this week was we set a baptismal date with our amis, Mouna! It has been along awaited time but it was the right time:) She will be getting baptized next month! Saturday evening we were incited by Burton to go see the famous flower carpet in Brussels. Every year Belgium makes a huge display of flowers on the ground of grand place. Every year there is a new theme and this year it was a Mexican theme. It was so pretty. We were also able to meet a lot of Burton's Friends at this event. We were able to meet the admiral of NATO as well. We hope to meet with these people soon :)
Ok, some big news! I was talking to President this week about my mission. I have been thinking a lot about extending my mission and à tout suite President was able to let me! So I will be going home on February 13th. I am excited to have another transfer in the mission that I love so much.
Bonne semaine!
Bisous!
SÅ“ur Pischer
