Belgian Wedding, Filming, and Panda!

Coucou!
Ok my first week as a new STL with my new college was quiet an adventure!
My new college is great. Her name is Sister Peterson. She is from Utah and she is a great missionary! We are both figuring out this STL thing but I think that we are getting a hang of it :) I have our first exchange this week so wish me luck!
So let me get started with my week!

So of course we were going around Brussels Tuesday for Sister Safsten to say goodbye to everyone. Sad day:( Wednesday morning was the day where my bleue was going to be leaving. We made it to the gare and everything all fine. Then the Thalys was late so I was worried and it finally did come, I was trying to hurry to get all the bags on train that I almost got stuck on the train. But I got out but sadly wasn't able to say bye to Sœur Safsten. But I will see her again:)

Then the rest of the crazy week! So Thursday we basically went to the middle of nowhere to have a rendez-vous with an amis. Lets just say no one spoke french, only Dutch, she was late and when she did come there was a her whole family and a couple of friends.. well we tried to start the lessons but no one was listening and the amis said she only had 10 minutes... we did a simple lessons and we will keep in contact with her. But the miracle that happened was on the way back we found a member from Africa that didn't know where the church was! So bam unexpected miracles:)

Panda happened Friday! This is a signal that me and Sœur Safsten came up with when Madlyn accepted a baptismal date! So Madlyn is getting baptized!! Yay! She will get baptized in July! I am so happy! I hope to be here for that special day and support one of my favorite people ever:) she will be gone for a couple of weeks so we will stay in contact with her as much as we can and then when she gets back, We will have more lessons:) I am so excited! I will keep you all updated♡

Meredith got married Saturday! I got to go to their wedding in the Marie which is the town hall. It was so cool to see a Belgian Wedding! Meredith was so beautiful and i was almost crying because of how happy I was for her. We bought her some colorful flowers as a gift. I can say that Belgian Weddings are simple and fast but it was a really good experience for me:)  Then we were able to go to their reception in the afternoon which was really fun:) We met a Buddhist Monk  and i learned a lot about Buddhism. Super cool.

During Saturday as well we got filmed! Yes we were asked to be filmed!  we were asked questions about missionary work and just basic gospel doctrine. It was super awesome experience, we went by the Atomium and that is where they asked us questions then we went back to the church where they filmed us doing a street contact and some other things. It was so fun! It was in French. We were asked to do this because in Belgium, sometimes people really don't know who we truly are as Mormons so the videos will be used to explain who we are and what we believe :) so watch out for Sœur Pischer in the future!

That is all!
Je vous aime!
Bisous!
