Board Games and Baptisms 🌊

Bonjour!

Well this week was a week. I was sick most of it, we traveled to the middle of nowhere, and we had board games and baptisms! Yay!

So yes i was sick for most of the week. We had to stay in a couple of days even but we still did Missionary work comme même. But the times when I wasn't sick we were out and about. During that time we were able to visit Madlyn. Guys, i can not tell you how amazing this girl is. She is just so prepared by the Lord and she loves everything that we teach her. She wasn't able to come to church due to a race but she will come the next Sunday:)

Cool story so there were 4 baptisms this weekend! Three children and 1 adult. After the adults baptism was on Friday and right after we had an awesome game night! I played a game will recent convert Kamal with some missionaries. It was called imagine! It was a really fun game and you have to be really creative. It was really cool to do something with members. I really love the members here and how awesome they are. So the other 3 baptisms were on Saturday! Elza got baptized! She was truly prepared and she got baptized with her two twin brother's. It was a beautiful experience. I am truly grateful that I got to be apart of that special moment with her. We had to arrive so early for her baptism because the water heater is broken so we have to heat up some water so we can throw it into the font. However since the cold water was overpowering the hot water. The font was really cold....Elza was fine. She was a really camper but the other two didn't.. nope. Not at all.

During Elza's baptism, I truly felt an overwhelming sensations that Heavenly Father love Elza and that he was grateful for me for being one of the missionaries to have taught her. My testimony has grown that baptism is truly the door that we take so we can get back to our Heavenly Father. There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that truly tells we do missionary work. It is in Alma 31:35. "Behold, O Lord, their souls are precious, and many of them are our brethren; therefore, give unto us, O Lord, power and wisdom that we may bring these, our brethren, again unto thee." Everyone is precious to our Heavenly Father and that is why we help people come to know him. He wants everyone to return to him. This is why I am a missionary. :)

Well until next time!
