The Beauty of Baptism ♡

Salut à tous!

This week was extremely crazy with rendez-vous after rendez-vous of new amis and progressing amis. We were able to see Elza, Meredith, and Madlyn this week! All three of these lessons went good! Elza and Meredith are progressing well to their baptismal dates. Madlyn is doing really well and we will be seeing her tomorrow!

We were also able to meet with a few new people! It was really cool to see how the gospel really can change a person's life. To see the spirit work and touch people. Of course people have to be open to the spirit and want to have a desire to know if these things are true.

These week I went on a spontaneous exchange with Sister Zurcher since Sister Safsten and Sister Carlson had to go to the doctors. So we spent half the day together on Wednesday. We basically just did some n'importe quai stuff and a rendez-vous with Meredith until we got a phone call saying the other sisters were done. It was really dope and I got to FINALLY go to a sandwich shop that I have been dying to go to since I got to Brussels. It wasnt to bad. :)

Well about the title today. Last Saturday the Elders had a baptism and his name is Kamal. He is a really cool dude! He asked me to speak at his baptism about the Holy Ghost. It was my first time giving a talk at a baptism and it was truly a spiritual experience. I also learned more about the Holy Ghost so profitez-bien by the chances you get to give a talk. Earlier Saturday morning we decided that we were going to make crepes for Kamal's baptism so we spent a little time doing that. Let me say over the course of my mission I have learned how to make some pretty good crepes;)

Today for P-day, we went to a forest. But not just any forest, we went to the forest where Belgium was dedicated for missionary work. We read the dedicatory prayer that Elder Holland gave in 1998. It was a really Spiritual prayer and it was a really cool experience. Also I FINALLY GOT TO USE MY HAMMOCK! It was dope. We played games and had a picnic. It was a really chill p-day.

These last few weeks, I have been really trying to focus on a having the spirit more in my everyday life. I can see a different when we truly seek him out and we rely on him, he will be there for us and he will help us to know what to say. Our Heavenly Father is truly there for us by the Holy Ghost but we have to seek him out and to be worthy to have him with us.

Ok je vous aime! Until next time!
