Coucou!
Ok so this week was extremely insane...but by now an insane week is a normal week...
I saw a few new amis that we have! Their names are Sandra and Beatrice. I love them both a ton! Sandra was born in South Korea but was adopted by Belgium family. We had an awesome rendez-vous with her where she knows that the book of Mormon is true and that she has been thinking about getting baptized. She really like everything about the church and is so happy that she came in contact with the missionaries. We also eat some really good spicy tuna and herbal tea with her. Ok Puis! Beatrice. I cleaned her house for a few hours....alone.... while SÅ“ur Potter was helping her with some papiers that have been really stressing Beatrice out. I also made spaghetti and cleaned the dishes. Charity is the pure love of Christ peeps. I really felt the spirit in Beatrice's home that day. I can not explain the feelings in words, you had to be there.
But the craziest thing happened with me and SÅ“ur Nunez. She is one of the Spanish sisters in Brussels. So we went on a split for a rendez-vous with a women. So we went to the church, oh and we forgot the keys to the church so wr sat outside in the freezing cold for about 30 mi utes. the women didn't show up but we called her and she said that she was waiting for us at a tram stop. We walked back to the tram stop and went into the cafe for a petit rendez-vous. THIS WAS THE CRAZIEST RENDEZ-VOUS OF MY LIFE. this women just went off about n'import quoi and started telling us very personal information. We left like we needed to leave as soon as possible because this women was not wanting to talk about Jesus so we tried so hard to leave but this women basically won't for 30 minutes. When she finally took a breath, we got up and were like, "We need to go thank you for your time!" Went to go pay for stuff but when we got to the door to leave the women was leaving with us. We waited for the tram together and she got on a different tram than we did... she was nice though. :)
This week we had zone conference were we got smartphones! Wowwww! I feel like a normal person now! However our sim card was too big to go into our new phone so we were told to wait until we got a new sim card in the mail... then we were told to go just change the sim card out a few days later... but we went to the orange store they wouldn't let us activate our new sim card..... so we had to go through this huge process of sending pictures to the assistants to the mission president. So the funny part. Right in the middle of our phone call Finding or area book finding, our phone just randomly stops working! It didn't work for about two hours! We felt lost and didn't know what to do with ourselves.....oh fun times:) but our phone works now:) oh also our phone's name is Sammy..... because he is a Samsung..... get it? Hehe:)
Interesting Facts about Belgium so far:
1. They only Bis once here instead of two like in France.
2. They have the best gaufres and the best frites.
3. Belgium people are so nice! (Not a fact but something different)
4. They are super laidback.
So this is my life. We perform acts of service for people we don't know but we care about so much. We talk to people on the street, on trams, metros, buses, at their doors, or on phones and we talk to them about Jesus and the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have awesome rendez-vous with people and we also have rendez-vous's that are not so good... but I love my life. I love to get up every morning to testify to people about what I know to be true. My testimony of the church and my love for people has grown so much. Missions are super hard but it is worth it. :)
Ok I love you all! Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you know how much you are loved by me and our Heavenly Father
Bisous!
SÅ“ur Pischer
