"C'était magique, C'était Merveilleux!"- Chispelle

Bonjour à tous!

Ok another fantastic week filled with lessons, spiritual finding experience, a wedding, and a baptism! And i had my first Halloween in France!

Halloween in France! We actually had District meeting in a Halloween so Sœur Nickerson and I decided that we need a costume. We decided to be spirit missionaries in the spirit world. If anyone of you don't just tell me and I will explain:) anyways we did and it was super fun. Then we decided to go porting and do some pass-bys. Well our one pass-by opened their gate and their cute little son was giving out candy and asked if we wanted any but of course we were like no we are missionaries. He didn't understand and gave us candy anyways. The pass-by wasn't interest but we got candy!🎃🍬

We got to see the Quint family who we just love to much and missed a lot. We had an awesome lesson with them. Pascal and Aline which we studied the scriptures together and knowing that we can't know EVERYTHING about the scriptures the first or second time we read them. Sœur Albert, who is an awesome older women and a doll with a really strong testimony of the gospel. Then we got to go have dinner with the Kimpe Family with their daughter's friend! We talked about families and now we can have eternal families. They feed us Raclette which is a popular French winter food, it is really good!

Ok spiritual finding experience. We went finding one day, we ported this door and a women opened the door who was just awesome. For some reason or another i just felt the spirit really strong when we we were talking to her and I really do believe we softened her heart to wanting to know more. Even though we didn't get a rendez-vous but I think we helped her in some way. We plan on stopping by her place again soon.

Ok wedding. Saturday there was a wedding in St. Quentin so we actually, moved the baptism to Sunday because of it. But the wedding was just so beautiful and even though I didn't know the bride or groom, I was tearing up a bit. I think I was so happy because two people are deciding to spend their lives together and for eternity! It is so special when someone finds that special person who they want to share eternity with.

Ok Sunday, this was the big day! That morning we had to finish Chrispelle's gift, finish the snacks for maybe after the baptism, and just do the rest of the regular missionary stuff in the morning! Also we didn't know if the agendas for the baptism were made, the baptismal font was going to get filled, or how to even do a baptism. Crazy. Then we were trying to get a hold to Chrispelle to make sure she was coming to sacrament but she was having a crazy morning as well so we left church to go help her and a lot of members were wondering what was going on by trying to call and text us but our phone died... but guess what! Everything worked out. We had a baptism and it was one of the most specialist moment of my life. To see how much the spirit was there and to see how the gospel can change someone's life. To see in THEIR eyes the truth of the church, to know they believe, and have a testimony of Jesus-Christ. It really strengthened my testimony of the gospel and how powerful/important baptism is.
After that we eat lunch with a member, went to Chrispelle had dinner with her, and then came back to the apartment to do studies. It really was a crazy day.
Today we got repertoire which tells us where we will be going next, etc. So Sœur Nickerson will be going to Rennes! I am so excited for her and she has been an amazing companion, I love her! I am so happy to see what she does in the future.❤ I will be staying in St. Quentin and my next companion is Sœur Inman! We actually came to France together and i guess it is not common for two people to be together for their third transfers if they came into the mission together. So that's cool. So I am super excited for her to be my second companion!
That is all! Also I have a friend who will be coming home from his mission and he will be going to go to the university of Wyoming. His name is Alex Hacker so if all of you who are at UW right now or in Laramie, WY give him a warm Welcome.
Hope you all have a good week!
