And Then There Were 2

Salut!

Well I would describe this week as unexpected complications.... almost everything that we did, planned, or participated in had complications that we didn't realize were going to happen.  Par example, we have a little bit of a complication with our 3 baptismal dates. We actually had to drop one of them because we haven't been able to get in contact with him for a few weeks. Another baptismal date, we moved to February which isn't a bad thing at all , we are making sure that we prepare our ami as much as possible.:) then our last one, this past week we have taught lessons that help the ami to prepare for baptism and some of the time he didn't understand why or if he could follow a commandment of God. But he is trying really hard and we might need to postpone his baptismal date as well. But we will figure everything out this next week:) 

A funny complication that happened was on Saturday we went to the Desmedt house to eat food with the whole Desmedt family to open presents for Marie's Birthday. Marie is Sœur Desmedt's daughter. She is literally the sweetest girl ever. When we arrived apparently the gas stopped working so the soup wasn't being cooked.... it was like 8:45 o'clock at night and the store where they could have bought more gas closed at 9... so two of Sœur Desmedt's sons left to go get some gas but were unsuccessful. The next day on Sunday Sœur Desmedt told us that they found a solution by barbecuing the soup. To barbecue to soup IT TOOK THEM FOUR HOURS. that is crazy. We had some of the soup Sunday night and it was really good! :) 

Oh also we might we going to the temple the 24th of January now instead of the 20th. The temple was full all of Saturday and the only time that was available was Wednesday the 24th. Do you now what this means?! Our p-day or our Monday free time with be moved to Wednesday or Thursday and we might be spending our p-day in Paris! I hope we get to go!:) 

Ok another cool thing that happens in France around this time of year is soldes. Soldes is a SIX WEEK long sale on whatever stores want to have sales on! And the sales are like 70% off! I am so excited and I hope to get a lot of good stuff. Don't worry mom I wont spend too much ;)
