Only Through Our Savior Jesus Christ Can We Have True Happiness

CouCou!

I can't believe it is already Lundi again! This week went by way to fast but we did a lot this week. On Tuesday we decided to go to Bohain for Finding, our to talk to people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That rendered not a bunch of success but I did give out a livre de mormon to an atheist man! It was a really spiritual experience because at first he didn't want to hear about religion but some testifying and guidance from the spirit, we gave him un livre de mormon! He was touched that I believe he will start to read. After him we didn't have much success so we decided to do studies outside in the freezing cold rain... so that was fun. I know that we were suppose to go to Bohain for a reason even if I don't know what that reason might have be, maybe for the atheist man or another person, but I know that Dieu wanted us to be there.

We had a dîner with la famille Gouttin on Wednesday! They made some really good quiche that I will admit, I ate a lot. They are a really funny family and super talented! They just make me laugh all the time:) Oh FUNNY STORY, we were in the middle of our lesson and to defend myself it was really late so my mind with french wasn't working but anyway back to the story. Ok so we were in the middle of the lesson and I didn't know how to say eating with members and giving a pensée so I said, "mangez-vous". All of the Gouttin family looked at me like I was crazy for 5 seconds then everyone busted out laughing because 'mangez-vous' isn't a word in French but in fact it is a word made up by missionaries to describe when we eat with members. They all understand what I said but it was just a funny moment because I was speaking neither English or French but missionary. It was a great moment.

Ok Thursday was a bitter sweet day. We got to go the Paris for a Conference and I got to see Sœur Nickerson! Oh I was so excited to see her and I learned a lot by Elder Sabin and His Wife. So when the conference was over we had to get to Saint Quentin by Train and something was happening with the trains so we had to walk through Paris... this isn't the bitter part.:) in fact it was awesome, we even walked by Notre-Dame and La Seine River! I just love Paris, I hope I get to serve there one day.  Ok so we made it to the gare and got on our train. We got back to our apartment and it was snowing! It was SNOWING! I actually really missed the snow and it was an awesome moment so I wanted to take a picture with my camera however I couldn't find it.... Sœur Inman and I searched everywhere in the apartment and couldn't find it. I must have left my camera on the train... so I did all I can to find it and hopefully I do.

Saturday we had a crazy day. First we were about to eat lunch and study french with la famille Desmedt. I love Sœur Desmedt and her family. She is a strong women. Then we saw the Quints. Yay! I love them, they are great as always! Then we saw Sœur Suebe and her daughter for a little pensée then we had to catch the last bus so we could make it to our rendez-vous with Yannick! Yannick is dope. I love that guy. He came to church Too! Oh how glorious that moment was. I love it when amis progress:)

This week was full of unsuccessful finding but we had miracles with others. I can't even explain how rewarding it is to do the things the Lord wants us to then he will bless us. I would encourage all of you to do 'Light the world' activities so that we all can show others your love for them and the Love of Christ has for them as well.

À bientôt!
