Joyeux Noël 🎄

Salut!

Ok this won't be long because I am EXHAUSTED. We had a pretty full week when mangez-vous after mangez-vous and awesome rendez-vous with amis! On Monday we missed our train, which was the last train of the night back to st. Quentin but an awesome member came and got us. Also guess what... I got sick again. Oh also our gas was turned off for a couple of days:) But it got turned back on Sunday morning!

Let's see where to do begin! Mohamed is progressing smoothly and we even have a baptismal date with him! He is best friends with Pascal B. in our ward which is really sweet and awesome! We eat lunch together at the Poletz for Christmas! It was really good and they were so sweet by getting us all presents. They are the best!♡
Next cool thing was we meet with alpha! We haven't seen him for awhile but he said he wanted to meet with us so we did. Had a really good rendez-vous with him as well. He has a date for baptism as well! Super awesome because he knows the Book of Mormon is true, he said that himself. So what a joy.
Oh Chrispelle will be going to the temple in January! She brought it up at our rendez-vous and she wants to go! So we will be helping with that. Nono has grow so much:)
We meet a recent convert from Spain who moved in to st. Quentin so we have been teaching him the new convert lessons which he doesn't understand us sometimes so that is hard haha. But we have Spanish speaking members and missionaries here so we will be fine.... hopefully.
Christmas Eve! Oh it was great! We sang in sacrament meeting and it wasn't good. We only had a day to prepare, I was sick, and we never practice with the pianist. But we survived! Then we went to the Kimpe family's house. We eat, played a dope game were we play bingo and when you get a bingo, you open a gift! The family was so nice and let us take home the things we unwrapped! They even got us a gift with chocolates and hygiene supplies. The best two things for missionaries:) then we eat diner at the Vanaquer's and I played with some fancy googles! You put the googles on and you are in a fictional world getting scared! It was fun haha:) This day I tried for the first time, snails, live oysters, and caviar.  I liked the snails and that was it haha. :)
Christmas! We went to the Poletz with Mohamed. Then tried to go stop by Soeur Albert, she was sleeping. Then we made cookies for our mangez-vous with the Desmedt family! But between those two things! I called my family! It was so good to see everyone and get to talk to people I haven't seen in along time. Also MY BROTHER IS ENGAGED! Yay! So happy for them! I love my family every much and I am so grateful that I got to see them yesterday:)  For the soir, we eat at chez Desmedt with all of her children! Then we played a game called Werewolf. I sucked at that game but i will redeem myself tonight because we are seeing them, again this evening!
Something else cool is over the past couple of Mondays, we have racked up about 5 hours of p-day time that we will be using on Friday. That will be nice! So fun!

I hope you know how important Christmas time is and how spending it with the people you love or doing something you love makes it all the better:) i know your Heavenly Father loves you and he sent his son for EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
John 3:16-17.

Have a FANTASTIC week!

The fancy googles that I tried!

This is my cat friend that I made waiting for the member to get us.

Someone lost their phone so we waited to give it back to them.
