Salut,
Ok this week was something else. So like normal we have district meeting in Amiens on Tuesday morning and that was great. BUT here comes the cool part when we were on our way back to St. Quentin this guy got on the train sat down a little ways away but then he got up and came over to us asking if we were the Mormons! Of course we said yes and he sat down. He explained that he knows a little about our church from a few of his friends back in Peru, yes he is from Peru, and he wanted to know why we were different. So like missionaries we are, we explained why we were different. We got his contact information, set up a rendez-vous for later in the week that he was 30 minutes late for so we didn't get a lesson in but we might have one this week.
We had a rendez-vous with Chrispelle on Wednesday! And she is just amazing like always. this week I have learned that not everyone knows some definitions we have for events in history. So it is really important to teach simply and help people understand! Have to work on teaching simply:)
Then on Thursday. Oh let me tell you about this. So we had an AWESOME rendez-vous with Yannick! SÅ“ur Vanaquer, Chrispelle with us were all testifying of prayer and Heavenly Father's plan for us! The spirit was so strong in that room that I think it changed all of our lives! And Yannick and Chrispelle came to church on Sunday so that was really awesome! Can't wait to see them this week. Then we went to the family Kimpe's house to eat dinner and share a thought with them. They are the best. Our Train back was late so we got back late but c'est la vie.
Puis we went to Bohain on Friday to see a man named Norbert and his daughter Lucie! Oh my goodness, he is my favorite man ever. He is so amazing and really funny! He has a strong testimony of the church but hasn't came to church in awhile. I hope we inspired him to come back to church so he can have the blessings that come from it! Lucie is amazing as well and she truly has the desire to come back to church! Yay!
We had a lot of member rendez-vous this week giving thoughts abiut the venez et voyez activity we have soon! So that ia really fun.
Hmm anything from this week. Well it is really cold here and it rains a lot so I have had to gotten use to that haha. Also this next week we decided we were going to try new finding ways since we haven't had a ton of success getting new Investigators lately.
Ok i think that is it! This week we are going to Paris which will be extremely fun and I get to see SÅ“ur Nickerson! Yay!
