Un date de baptême!
Salut!
Well as you can tell by the title, I have had a wonderful hectic week:)
So first thing first yes we have a date for baptism! I am so excited! This will be my first baptism in France. Chrispelle will be getting baptized on November 4th! It was a wonderful experience to extend the date to her. At first she was not so sure but with a lot of testifying and a video of the Savior getting baptized helped her to feel that November 4th was the right day for her!
Ok other cool stuff this week. We had our first rendez-vous with Jérôme and it was really good! I think he really like what we had to say and we even have another rendez-vous with him this week! Then we had another rendez-vous with Cerane. I had a really strong impression that we needed to talk about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon and how important it is to pray about them. It was exactly what he needed to hear from us! He has been reading and he said it strength his faith in Christ now he must needs to pray:) so we hope he does that.
Exchanges was this week in Lille and I was with Sœur Bishop! I learned a lot from her. She is so funny and I love her. She is really good at contacting and helping people feel the Holy Ghost. I want to improve my contacting skills to be like her! She is at the end of her mission but she has done a ton of amazing things while she has served. :) I love to go on exchanges because they teach you so much about how to do missionary things differently.
Another cool thing was that we had stake conference this weekend! It was in Lille! It was really cool! It was at a big event center. Our mission president and his wife spoke at stake conference so that was cool. Elder Boom. He had a really good inspiring take and I loved it:)
We spent a lot of time in Lille this week as you can tell.
Today was Sœur Nickerson's Birthday and it was a blast! I decorated the apartment for her this morning and the Elder's in our district came to our ville for district p-day! We went to a carnival, the zoo, and we had an awesome peanut chicken pasta for lunch! I hope she had a good birthday:)
Anyways that is all for now. I love you all and Heavenly Father loves you even more! Remember he knows you personally.
Have a good week!
