La Semaine de ma Anniversaire!
Salut!
So this week was filled with work, work, work, and more work! And no electricity... twice! Let me explain.:) So this week we had the most rendez-vous so far! We had three less-active or new convert lessons, two new amis lessons, and Chrispelle. OH Chrispelle had her baby! A baby boy, named Nolahn. He is the cutest:)❤ We also have a new ami lesson tonight! St. Quentin is popping with amis! I am excited for all the people we have:) Since we still working on our Plan, we spent a lot of time finding this week, which most missionaries spend their time finding. "Nothing happens in Missionary work until you find someone to teach!"-PMG. this statement is true and have seen it this week. This is why you see or hear missionaries walking, calling, or just plain finding people. This is how we teach others about the gospel! And finding requires work. And we worked a lot this week. So this week my birthday was on Wednesday! Since I have an amazing Sœur, she decorated the apartment and gave me a gift. She gave me Zeros! Zeros are my favorite candy bar ever! I love her!❤Something really cool happened on my birthday. My companion and I decided to fast until dinner. We also had a lesson with a new ami! When we went to the church to have the lesson, our ami didn't show up which was said. However we decided to work in 12 week and end our fast. As soon as we said a prayer to end the fast! The ami came through the church door! We had an awesome lesson and he was so happy to hear what we had to say:) Obedience bring blessings. When we should our Heavenly Father our willingness to do his will, he will bring miracles:) I really loved General Conference! I thought it was amazing! It was so interesting to feel to spirit so strong and to understand everything. I think it has something with me bring a missionary. It was sad to hear about elder Hale but I know he was amazing apostle and he is in a better place:) So not to no electricity... so I brought an American hair straightener to France and I guess the electricity didn't like that. So two times this week we had no electricity and the last time we had to call our landlord for help and all he did was flip a switch....so nice. I don't use that straightener anymore.
So the scripture this week. I would love to invite you to study Matthew Chapter 1 and the birth of Jesus. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins, 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.He is our Savior and he was sent to us to atone for all the sins of the world. That means for you and for me. I know our Savior loves you and he is always with is us. That is why he is called Emmanuel.
Passé une bonne semaine!
