When In Saint Quentin....

Well Hello!

Another week has passed with a bunch of adventures!

Where to begin! We have had a lot of rendezvous with people which is awesome. We have one progressing Investigator that is awesome. One who is literally ready for baptism and we will ask her to be when she gets back from Paris in two weeks! She reads the scriptures everyday, she has a desire to go to the temple, and go to church!! Awe so good! Also we have another who has been praying about the church and came to church Sunday! I hope he gets an answer that the church is true because it is! Oh so many cool things. Also for one of our rendezvous the person didn't show up at the church so we kind of just waited and did some studying. Then a guy came to the door and was reading the sign so we went to talk to him and set up a rendezvous! It was awesome! We were there at the right time😊 We also got a rendezvous with this guy, that the elders when they were here. And they just couldn't get a rendezvous with but for some reason we got on with him this next coming week! I will update you all next week!

We have done a lot of tracting /contacting. Our goal is to try and do an hour of finding a day. Which we have been pretty good at so far. Which enables me to see more of Saint Quentin and just see France! YAY! Talking in french to people that you literally know nothing about is hard in itself and not being fluent in a language is harder but I am improving. We have a few potential Investigators which is awesome!

All the members here are awesome. I probably said that last time but it is true! They are all so sweet at church yesterday which hey I was suppose to talk but for some reason I didn't! I bet they will surprise me one Sunday saying I will be speaking but I will be prepared! We got fed lunch by this awesome member named Marie. She is so funny and so nice. I just love her. She has the best stories and the best food. We helped someone change a tire after lunch with Marie because someone ran into a car outside her apartment. I'm sorry Ridge and Dad I failed you! I forgot the first step but don't worry, Now I know how to change a tire in America and France! Then we got feed by another family. Oh they are the funniest people and the sweetest! They are so funny. They spoke French and English so they were able to help me out. I found out from them that the biggest meal in France are lunches so breakfast and dinner are more like large snacks...interesting. but I love it! French people make the best food and they love to go all out. Salad, Entrée, Desert, the whole deal, like if you were at a fancy restaurant but at every house.

Let's see some fun things. I had my first district meeting Thursday! It was really fun. We took a train to Amiens at 8 in the morning. Oh the bus driver asked if we were ladies of the Lord. Oh also we made this huge pasta dish because we ate with our district afterwards. It was awesome! Amiens is so pretty and I loved it. All the other missionaries in my district are the bomb and super nice/helpful. I learned a lot of how to improve and what I could work on. Fun story. We had to run to catch our train back to St. Quentin. That was fun because there were 8 missionaries running down the street! Just imagine that!

What other fun things. Today we went to the Basilique in St. Quentin. It is so huge and pretty. All the architecture and the stain glass windows are so beautiful. I can't describe it in words so look at the photos!
I love everything about France. It's really funny in fact. I love the style, the buildings, the history, and the beauty here. It's like I was from France or I am suppose to be in France along! Crazy! I feel at home! I am trying so hard not to buy everything I see or stop to explore every inch of this place. All the little cafés in France are my favorite thing. You get to sit outside and just be apart of France. Just enjoying yourself.

I think that is all for now! Love you all!
