France Here I Come!!!!
Hello Everyone!
This week has been a crazy week! Since I will be leaving on Monday for France! Oh so soon... It`s exciting and nerve racking. I`m nervous about actually getting out into the field and having to speak French all the time! I will just have to trust in the Lord that he will take care of me and he knows more about my potential than I do.
We had a French lesson on Saturday with some native French speaking elders. I was really scared to go into the lesson since we aren't being taught in French on anything. I really had to trust that the Spirit would guide me what I need to say! And it did! It was so weird! When I started talking, literally all my words were what I need to say and I said them correctly! I was so shocked and I couldn't believe that my French was understandable. Trust in God and you can do all things through him.
Another thing happened to me this week that i feel like I should share. Whenever you have a prompting from the Spirit to do something, do it. He knows what is best for you and he will guide you to do what is right. Even if you don't know why he is prompting you to do something, trust him. Trust in the Spirit is one of the most important and the hardest thing I have learned here at the MTC but it is will help me in the field.
Oh another crazy thing! So I like lists! Lists for days! I like to stay organized. So I made a list, however I lost it! Typical Sister Pischer... anyways all day I was searching for this list! I couldn't find it all day and so I decided to ask Heavenly Father to help me find my precious lists. After I said my pray, literally no joke, I found it outside my residence room on a table directly in front of my door.... say what? It was so awesome! I was so grateful that I was able to find my lists!
Yesterday was infield orientation! Which basically was just sitting in classes for 9 hours... it was really fun though! I learned a lot about how to be a successful missionary. Another cool thing was me and companion got to be in the play that they had! I didn't know at the time when I volunteered us to help that we would be in the play... but it was so much fun and I`m glad that we were in it!
The open house was so much fun! Me and my companion got to be the first greeting missionaries at the doors of the MTC! Oh how fun that was! It was a privilege to be apart of a historic event!
Sorry this is a long email but I had a lot to share this week! I think that I will be posting my weekly updates on my blog instead of sending out a huge email list. Some people aren't getting my emails. I will still have a group of friends and family for a weekly email update. Also for people who can't access the blog! Also I still will email people personal. I love talking to you guys! :) Thank you for the emails! Talk to you next week, when I am in France!
Au revoir!
