Time For Me to Go.

I'm going to miss Wyoming. Particularly all the wonder friends that I have and all the memories i have made. Of course my life wasn't easy and I don't think anyone's life is easy. Something that helped me get through those hard times was the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the LDS church. I experienced the healing power the Gospel. I applied what I learned from my experiences and tried to help others through their hard times as much as I could. This past year of my life has been the biggest healing process of my life and i had a HUGE CHANGE as well. I decided to change in my ways. By my actions i was showed how wonderful my life was. I did things that i have never done before or was to afraid to again like skiing or morning hikes! I did them and i loved them! I loved going on hikes with my granola friend and she showed my how beautiful Wyoming was. I loved hangout with people at the LDS institute and I loved meeting new people. I loved every adventure i had and the people that i experienced my adventures with. I love them even more. I also I started focusing on the Gospel more and truly learning/applying it's principles in my life. My knowledge that i was a Daughter of God and i had a great importance to him grew. My testimony of the LDS church grew and I gained a stronger testimony of the Book of Mormon. From all of these changes and new experiences i had, they helped me to realize that it was time for me to go on a mission for my church. About a month ago, I started to look back on my past memories and I realized how lucky I was. How much I was loved and how great my memories were. I am truly grateful for all the people and the experiences I have had in my life. The people and my memories makes it hard for me to leave behind all the great things in Wyoming. I will miss all my memories and I hope to create more in the future. And most of all, I am going to miss all my amazing friends and family that I love that made Wyoming so wonderful.

The one thing that will be with me on my mission is the Gospel. My journey is about to begin and I am terrified.  I fly out tomorrow morning to the Provo MTC where I will spend three weeks study and training to be a missionary. Then I will fly to France where I will be serving an 18 months mission. I have never been on a plane, never been to Europe or even outside the US, or moved away from my hometown. I'm not going to have my family and friends there everyday to help me or make more memories with. I'm terrified of the unknown but I know that I must go. I have wanted to go on a mission for along time and now is my time to go. Heavenly Father needs me to go and I can do anything with him by my side. I will make the most of my time in France and I will make the most of it by helping people come unto the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I am so excited to do this for others. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has blessed me in the past and it will continue in the future. I know the truthfulness of the LDS church and I hope to show others the truthfulness of it as well. I hope to show people, where ever I go, that I love them and that Heavenly Father has an infinitely more greater love for them. My purpose as a missionary is,
to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end" ( Preach My Gospel[2004], 1).  I'm excited to embark on my new adventure as I try to be the best missionary I can and live up to my missionary purpose.
